The production of natural yarns with Pozzi Electa hemp starts with the selection of the natural fiber, extracted from the phloem or book of the homonymous plant, by maceration and beating. This vegetable is native to Central Asia, but today it is cultivated throughout Europe, including Italy. Its cultivation has a low environmental impact because it consumes little water and does not require the use of pesticides.   Selected with the utmost care, the raw material reaches our production sites in Val Seriana, to be transformed into a very robust and resistant yarn. Natural yarns with hemp are biodegradable, have good thermal conductivity and excellent moisture absorption capacity. It also possesses anti-bacterial and regenerative properties that surpass any other natural fiber. It therefore gives a pleasant sensation of well-being and comfort to the touch. The production of natural yarns with Pozzi Electa hemp is designed for textile industry, particularly for outerwear, interior design, upholstery, and curtains.
