Camel

The production of Pozzi Electa camel natural yarns starts from the natural fiber, obtained from the undercoat of the animal, which detaches naturally during the spring moulting. The most valuable hair is that of the Asian camel, native to the areas between Mongolia and the Persian Gulf. We choose the fiber with the utmost care, before it arrives in our production plants in Val Seriana, to be used in our combed or carded yarns, depending on the length of the fibers and the desired effect in the fabrics. The result can be smooth, light, warmer or cooler, voluminous, puffy, hairy and soft. The finest camel hair is the one with the unique natural amber color that gives a recognizable and characteristic dyeing effect. The yarn is soft and elegant, with great draping and thermal insulation capacity. The production of Pozzi Electa natural Camel yarns is designed for the textile industry, particularly of fine underwear and outerwear. According to the different needs, we produce yarns with camel blended with other natural and artificial fibers and we guarantee the best result in terms of fineness, length, dyeing, shine, and performance.
