Raw materials come from distant countries where plants are grown and animals are raised, giving us natural vegetable fibers after the harvest and natural animal fibers after the shearing.
To guarantee respect for workers on plantations and for animal breeding methods in the countries of origin, our natural yarns have the "ECOyarns" logo. In addition to the excellence of the product, this brand certifies the ethical commitment of Pozzi Electa in favor of a sustainable world both in environmental and social terms.
When natural fibers arrive in our factories in Val Seriana, we proceed with all the phases of the production cycle, which culminate with ring spinning. The result is represented by natural yarns made in Italy containing cotton, linen, hemp, ramie, silk, wool, cashmere, camel, angora and yak.
Most natural yarns production maintains the fibers characteristics unaltered and are then sold raw, i.e. without dyeing processes. In some cases, we reach a natural coloring, deriving from the very nature of the fibers (linen, yak, camel). In other cases, we use staple-dyed fibers to create delicious natural mélange yarns.
In all variations, the incomparable quality of raw materials turns into natural, bright, versatile, soft, or dry natural yarns, depending on the intended use and desired effect. We can follow customers from small samples to large productions.
Our production of natural yarns is therefore customized, with the possibility to make blends of different natural fibers.
