Yak

The production of Pozzi Electa Yak natural yarns starts from the selection of the natural fiber, deriving from the hair of the animal of Himalayan origin which, during the moulting periods in spring, detaches naturally and is collected. Its features of finesse and rarity make it a very valuable fleece. We carefully choose the raw material, before it arrives in our production plants in Val Seriana, and then mix it to obtain a very fine, soft, and precious yarn. Its characteristic natural color, between dark brown and black, also makes it an eco-sustainable yarn, which can avoid chemical dyeing processes. The production of Pozzi Electa Yak natural yarns is designed for the textile industry, in particular of underwear, outerwear and interior design, upholstery and fine curtains. According to the different needs, we produce Yak natural yarns mixed with other fibers. In this way, we guarantee the best result in terms of fineness, length, dyeing, shine and performance.
