Flame-Retardant Yarn Production

The production of Flame-Retardant Pozzi Electa yarns begins after careful choice of the raw materials. The Flame-Retardant staple fibers we use are mostly synthetic fibers, characterized by high strength and lightness, but also artificial ones such as FR viscose and natural ones such as wool. Within our production facilities in Val Seriana, we use Flame-Retardant fibers throughout the production process, from carding to spinning, to create fire-proof or flame-retardant yarns, with different characteristics depending on the final use. They can therefore be particularly resistant to abrasion, creases, light or tearing. The production of Pozzi Electa Flame-Retardant yarns is designed for the textile industry, especially technical clothing, upholstered furniture and curtains, as well as embroidery and sewing. Particularly important in interior design is the use of flame-retardant fibers (Trevira CS) which is widely used in our production. Based on the various requests, we make fire retardant yarns both with 100% staple and in blends with other natural, synthetic and artificial fibers. In this way, we can guarantee the best result in terms of fineness, length, dyeing, shine, and performance.
