Production of fireproof yarns

The production of flame-retardant yarns takes place from the use of fire and heat resistant fibers, such as FR polyester, i.e. Flame Retardant (Trevira CS). This means that the yarn and derived fabric will retard or inhibit the flame. We also produce fireproof yarns with the transformation of aramid fibers. In addition to the purely technical content, our fire-retardant yarns can be made with flaming or buttoning effects that also make them attractive from a stylistic and proactive point of view. Unlike FR polyester, a self-extinguishing material by chemical treatment, aramid fibers are naturally hardly flammable. In fact, they do not melt or drip and self-extinguish when the source of the fire goes out. The result will therefore be a heat resistant yarn, which prevents the formation of sparks and self-extinguishing. Depending on your needs, the production of fire-retardant yarns involves the use of one or the other fibers to make fabrics for technical clothing, especially protective work and sports clothing.
