Silk

The production of Pozzi Electa natural silk yarns begins with the choice of the raw material, produced by the “Bombix Mori” worm, which produces a very long continuous filament, with a characteristic shiny look. The Bombix Mori can be bred or can be found wild in nature. We use cut fibers, selected with the utmost care, which arrive in our production plants in Val Seriana. An ancient synonym of luxury, silk is available in all our yarn collections, both in the winter and in the summer seasons, precisely for its flexibility. Pozzi Electa's production of natural silk yarns is designed for the textile industry, particularly for outerwear, underwear and interior design, upholstery and curtains. According to the different needs, we produce natural silk yarns both with pure fiber and in blends with other fibers and we guarantee the best result in terms of fineness, cleanliness, length, dyeing, shine, and performance.
