Eco-sustainable biodegradable

The production of eco-sustainable and biodegradable yarns involves the use of meticulously selected raw materials, which are processed according to environmental sustainability standards within our production plants. When the biodegradation process is complete, there is a total conversion of the starting organic substances into simple inorganic molecules without the release of pollutants. While synthetic yarns have a low biodegradability rate due to their composition, natural yarns are 100% biodegradable and recyclable. Beyond this distinction, other factors intervene in determining the environmental impact of the yarns. The production process to which the fibers are subject also contributes to make them ecological. Our yarns are in fact marked "ECOyarns", which certifies the social and environmental responsibility of our company in improving the health of the planet. This commitment is also reflected in self-produced renewable energy and in the improvement of production processes to reduce consumption and waste production. Our commitment continues with the introduction in our collections of yarns made with raw materials recycled from waste from other processes, such as recycled cotton from denim fabrics or raw fabrics, Cupro, silk, wool, and last but not least, recycled polyester from bottles. By using these recycled materials, we actively contribute to extending the life cycle of the product, making it virtually infinite.
