Pozzi Electa S.p.A. was founded in 1889 by two brothers, Ercole and Pietro Pozzi, in Ponte Selva, in the Serio valley, where they built a spinning mill with 7,000 spindles, which went on developing itself in the following years.

Nowadays, after 110 years, the company is run by the fifth generation of the family and the production of ring cotton-system yarns is realised in the two spinning mills of Ponte Selva and Clusone, where the old plant has been doubled in 1997 with the construction of a new plant and the introduction of the latest machinery.

Pozzi Electa is renowned for the high quality of the yarns produced for fashion and technical use, as well as for the ability to study and develop new yarns and blends, in partnership with the customers. Another important point is the post-sales assistance, that can help the clients to better achieve their production goals.

Actually the production covers pure and blended cotton, viscose, silk, nylon, micromodal, Tencel, Lyocell, cashmere, angora, wool, linen, Trevira CS, in single and twisted yarns, stretch yarns with Lycra, slubbed and knopped yarns.
